DOL releases FMLA Employer Guide

It goes without saying that nothing is more exciting than the release of new information about the FMLA! Hmmm…well, OK, maybe not for everybody, but certainly for all of us FMLA/ADA Absence Administration geeks hanging out here at the DMEC Compliance Conference. The new guide was designed to provide direction when weaving your way through some of the complicated and difficult to interpret sections of the FMLA process. Also included are scenarios that are known to have caused confusion or gray areas in the past. It is a wealth of knowledge right from the source… know, the source you want to be fully compliant with, so they don’t come knocking on your door.

Along with the new guide, there is also a fancy new poster for Employer Requirements. No worries though, the one you have is still valid as there are no substantive changes or additions.. The new one is more user friendly, easier to follow, and brighter. For those who always want to be cutting edge, stay tuned. The moment the DOL releases it, we will post it for you.

Because it’s just the kind of friends we are, I’ve included a link to the new guide above. Go make a cup of tea and curl up in your favorite chair. Oh, don’t act all too cool for school….you know you can’t wait to read it! Enjoy!
